Sacred Heart Catholic School was founded in 1958 as a parish primary school at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Conroe. With more than 55 years of growth, the school has held fast to its founder, Father Timothy Cronin’s vision of “the big need for Catholic education in the community of Conroe.” For more than half a century, Sacred Heart Catholic School has been a happy place of learning for children!
Sacred Heart Catholic School follows the curriculum guidelines of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. It is designed to prepare students with a firm foundation in fundamental knowledge and skills with a strong emphasis in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Subjects include religion, math, reading, language arts, social studies, science, technology, art, music, physical education and spanish. Students in 5th – 8th grades participate in The Greater Houston Catholic Athletic Association (GHCAA).
Catholic PK3 - 8th grade programs have proven their value in boosting student self-esteem, attendance, behavior and academic performance. The PK3 - 8th grade model lets us focus on very young learners as they adjust to and thrive at school and on adolescents as they navigate through young adulthood.
